THE BOOK WITH THE #LOOK ~ SOUTHERN LEGACY 4-BK COLLECTION IS ONLY $0.99 FOR LIMITED TIME!

Southern Legacy, the Sweeping Romance that got rejected for an Amazon Ad last week, is now a bargain at $0.99 until March 24. The exact reason for the rejection was "The cover image of your ad shows a male character and a female character with sexual expressions" or simply 'THE LOOK.'

Instead of fighting with Amazon about how ridiculous this is, I'm going to go with it. Southern Legacy 4-Bk Collection will now be known as 'THE LOOK.'

I believe the real reason that Amazon flagged it has to do with the Civil War. Amazon is probably afraid that it promotes division within our country. That is the farthest thing from the truth about this book. You would think that if that was the case, Amazon would have taken the time to read it.

I poured my heart and soul into Southern Legacy. This is my best book.

Look at the reviews...here's a few.

Don't Miss Out on this Series: I NEVER write reviews! On this series I have too. I read 100's of books and have to say, this has been the most pleasant surprise. I urge everyone to buy this series. The characters are many and you will hate and love everyone of them from one moment to the next. The History is not so much captured in the Civil War itself but the feeling is captured. You can FEEL how each of these characters felt, whether they were from North or South, slave, or freedmen. Thank you to the Author for such a wonderful experience that kept me on edge, and awake at all times of the night. It was well worth it.

Beautiful story, heart-wrenching at times but loved every page. If you are a fan of historical romance, you will enjoy this series!

Southern Legacy books are a reminder of the past, and resemble the classic stories of
life before, during, and after the civil war.

Well written and very true to the real South. As a former southerner I loved the book. Of course, I was not around in the 1860's, but Jeri Hines really captured the demeanor and the language. It just felt right to me. I can remember as a small child crying over the way the former slaves were treated. There was still a lot of racism when I was in school. I graduated from high school 1955 so ,of course, there was no intergration. I got a bit frustrated with Jo and her lovers. I wish the character could have been more faithful, but it did make it more interesting in the long run.

I have read all of the Southern Legacy books by Jerri Hines and have loved each and every one of them. It's fantastic to have them all under 'one roof' so to speak!
Ms Hines as created compelling fictional characters, put them in real battles, manners and morals of the times and created an outstanding saga. As the author noted, she herself has southern ties and it shows.
As a 'yankee' I was fascinated with all the research that was done. The descriptions were vivid as were the characters and their responses. My husband also read the series. As a naval historian, he was delighted with the accuracy of the naval battles.
Southern Legacy Series is one that should not be missed by anyone who loves historical sagas. And it's perfect series for those who are just exploring the genre!

Do you get the feeling that Southern Legacy is a book worth reading? A romance—yes! Yet, it is more.

Read it...let me know what you think of 'THE LOOK.'
