GAME ON! WINDS OF BETRAYAL SAGA!
Coming May 20th, The Heavens Shall Fall, Book Four Winds of Betrayal, will be released!
I've been trying to decide how to celebrate the event. There will be the standard book giveaways, but I wanted to do something a tad different. So, I thought besides giving away books, I would host a trivia game of sorts. Test your knowledge of the series—a recap of the story to this point.
Anyone up for some little fun! I decided to give away $5 giftcard to either Amazon or Barnes and Noble for each category. The grand prize is a $50 gift card given at the end of the event who can answer the GRAND PRIZE question—
What is the underlining symbolism in Winds of Betrayal Saga?
What a serious question! Reminds me of sitting in English Lit class...mind you it was one of my favorite courses...ever! It's really not that hard of a question. I will give clues during the week, too. I'll draw a one winner of the $50 gift card from the correct answers.
But during the week, I'll have lots of fun questions not only about Winds of Betrayal or the American Revolution. There will be an assortment of questions. What kind of questions? Entertainment, sports, geography, literature, and history. What's your best subject?
Winds of Betrayal has been a long journey to this point. It has gone through a transformation over the years. When I started writing the saga back in 2000, the title of the first book was called Before the Sun Set. It wasn't a series, but one book. The concept to the story has never changed, but it was revised many times before it was published as Patriot Secrets in 2010.
The series was put on the shelf a few times. In that time, I wrote a Dreamscape, Whispers of a Legend, and started the Secret Lives Series. But I always went back to Winds of Betrayal.
Patriot Secrets expanded with the more research I did. I have always been fascinated with the American Revolution, but I didn't know much about the Southern Campaign. That research lead to the Tides of Charleston series and Kiss of Deceit in Winds of Betrayal. I fell in love with Charleston and its history.
Winds of Betrayal saga is about life during a turbulent time in our nation's history. Courage comes in many shapes and forms. Some people are born seemingly without fear; others have to draw it from the depth of their soul. Courage is only discovered when fear is faced.
Be swept back in time to the American Revolution! Read a riveting historical—the Winds of Betrayal saga!
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear. ~Nelson Mandela
